Not the righteous but sinners

Chapter 3

17 Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Jesus’ words are clear, He came not for those who are saved but to save those who   are not yet saved. He came down for me, a sinner. He left his Kingdom, His royalty, just to be with a filthy and lowly being like me. Only Jesus can do such things. Indeed, His love is more than enough.

Lord God, I thank you for Jesus, the ultimate savior that I can ever have. Jesus, thank you that you humbled yourself for me. Holy Spirit, remind me always of these things when I tend to forget so that I will always bear in mind how valuable I am that Jesus left His everything for me to gain everything with Him.
