Why so Afraid?

Chapter 4

40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Jesus is indeed reassuring me not to be fearful. Indeed, we can’t worry and have God at the same time. If the fear grows it does mean that the faith is decreasing, but if the fear shrinks, it means the faith is rising. I shall never be afraid for I live by faith. By faith, I have been saved; and by faith, I will conquer any storms.

Lord, help me keep this faith growing that when the storms of life came, I will never be afraid but be quiet, be still, and know that You are my savior. I shall not be afraid for you are within me. Amen.
