I read this good news with Ms. Rica Peralejo‘s blog post Here are Some Totes about buying a bag and sharing books. This gave me too much interest that I felt the need to really share this because books and literacy are closest to my heart.
I’m a self-confessed bookworm and that I’ll be forever grateful that I learned to read in advance at the age of 3 as my parents raised me up with books as gifts when I was still a child. Reading and having a lot of books is a privilege nowadays, which I believe is wrong. Literacy must be for free! Reading is not a luxury; it is a right that every one should know how and experience its wonders.
So, to all the book lovers out there like me, let us not forget our unfortunate fellows who doesn’t even know how to read and write. Share the word! Be blessed and be a blessing!
If you can’t purchase any bag (like me) yet, you can still visit the Diksyonaryo Atbp. website and see how you can help. If there is a will then surely there will always be a way. My way is spreading the good news just like Ms. Rica did. What’s yours?
